In recent years, the automotive electronics market has demanded increased heat resistance, extended service life and improved vibration resistance. In the communications and industrial equipment sectors, the focus is on high reliability and durability to ensure better environmental performance.
To meet this need, our partner Chemi-Con has developed the HXU series of SMD hybrid aluminum electrolytic capacitors. These capacitors are AEC-Q200 qualified and have been developed for markets that require high reliability, such as automotive electronics, industrial equipment and communication base stations.
Product Features
The HXU Series by Chemi-Con features a "composite sealing structure," a key technology that dramatically enhances airtightness by using a combination of rubber and resin for the sealing material. This innovation reduces electrolyte evaporation to approximately 50% compared to conventional HXF series, resulting in a significantly longer lifespan even in high-temperature environments.
The composite sealing structure also integrates the case and support base, enhancing vibration resistance. Moreover, HXU Series supports up to twice the ripple current capacity of standard series by optimizing conductive polymer materials and using electrolytes with superior stability in high-temperature environments. HXU has higher heat resistance for reflow than conventional products.
