- Thermal conductivity up to 6.5 W/mK
- Dielectric strength up to 26 kV/mm
- Temperature stable between -60 °C and +250°C
Electronic components will often only function perfectly within a narrow temperature range.
Optimum cooling, using a heat sink, for example, requires equally optimum thermal coupling of widely different components to the cooling element. Thermally conductive films have developed into excellent, gap-filling materials with a high thermal conductivity value. In contrast to metal-based solutions, they also offer electrical insulation, making the heat sink design much simpler.
These products are highly flexible products comprising thermally conductive and electrically insulating single- or multi-component ceramic-filled polymers or heat conducting materials. Products are also available with physical reinforcement – with incorporated glass fiber fabric or other materials.
