Thermally conductive graphite films

Graphite for high temperature loads

Graphite films use 100% pure graphite. The films are available as uncoated types and also with filled adhesive or standard adhesives for specific applications. Their high thermal conductivity means that they are used in CPUs, for example. KERATHERM® Graphite S 900 is a highly compacted, natural graphite which is rolled and pressed into films or plates without binding material. S 900 has exceptional properties and is therefore very often used as a cost-effective alternative to conventional interface material. S 900 is interesting for heat spreader applications, particularly due to the anisotropy of its thermal properties combined with a potential weight saving of up to 30% in comparison with conventional materials made of copper or aluminum. It can also be used for applications in a vacuum or at high temperatures (500 °C). Graphite S 900 has no electrical insulation and can be customized with an added adhesive coating
