These thermal interface materials (TIMs) enable efficient heat transfer from the source (e.g., semiconductor) to the sink (e.g., heatsink).
KERATHERM® thermal interface foils are specialized materials that combine two key properties: high thermal conductivity and excellent electrical insulation. Based on polymers such as silicone, polyurethane, or epoxy, these foils are typically 100 to 500 µm thick, making them ideal for applications with tight tolerances and small gaps.
Their main function is to ensure efficient heat transfer between components while providing high dielectric strength to prevent electrical breakdowns or arcing, enhancing the safety and reliability of your application.
