Double-layer capacitor modules for voltages up to 403 V

Double-layer capacitor modules comprise a number of capacitor capsules connected in series or in parallel, allowing greater operating voltages to be used as the connected voltage is distributed between the different capsules.

The (ambient) temperature is a determining factor for a capacitor's life cycle. When designing modules, it is important to ensure that the thermal load is evenly distributed in all capsules. If one capsule becomes significantly hotter than all the others, it will age more quickly and have a negative influence on the overall module's function, even if all other capsules are able to perform to their full capacity. LSMtron modules are thermally optimized and thus maximize their life expectancy.
